Shake Shack Bringing Burgers To Delta Flights From NY Airport: Here's Where You Can Get One

If you've ever craved a Shake Shack burger on a flight, one airline has you covered.

Delta Air Lines is expanding its Shake Shack partnership, the carrier said in a news release on Tuesday, Mar. 4. Shake Shack's burgers will now be available on flights 900 miles and longer that depart from New York City's LaGuardia Airport, along with Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

The program, which first launched on flights from Boston in December 2024, has already served more than 10,000 burgers.

"This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience – whether that’s making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure," said Stephanie Laster, Delta's onboard service director.

Passengers flying first class on eligible routes can pre-select a Shake Shack cheeseburger up to 24 hours before departure. The meal also includes chips, a Caesar salad, and a dark chocolate brownie.

Customization options, including lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce, come on the side.

"Our partnership with Delta has been a truly fantastic way to bring Shake Shack to even more guests in a setting where hospitality truly matters – while traveling," said Michael Kark, Shake Shack's global licensing president. "The response has been incredible, and we're thrilled to expand this partnership, giving even more Delta travelers the chance to enjoy Shake Shack along their journey."

To celebrate the expansion, Delta, Shake Shack, and Uber Eats are teaming up for a buy-one-get-one-free offer on ShackBurgers. SkyMiles members who sign up for the Delta x Uber waitlist by Thursday, Mar. 6 will have the deal added to their Uber Eats account, with redemption available through Friday, Mar. 14.

Delta is also rolling out other premium options on its first-class menu like Jon & Vinny's braised meatballs on some routes, while Delta One passengers can select seasonal wines such as Champagne Taittinger and Jordan Vineyard's cabernet sauvignon.
